Following where I left off on the Sunday exploring Pike Place Market and the Pride Parade, we booked a van to take us to the pier. Originally, we were taking a cab to get there, but the parade blocked access for cars. Renting a van from the hotel proved to be better with all the luggage we were carrying. We checked in at around 2PM.
This ship is huge. Their main atrium is just below two restaurants: a 24/7 cafe for those who want to eat at anytime and an all you can eat meat on skewers restaurant.
After much talking with the receptionist about our room provisions and excursion dates, we went to our rooms on deck 11 port side. We had a balcony outside. When the ship moved, my dad said there was food at the pool area. My siblings and I were too busy putting our clothes away. We went to the Garden Cafe for early dinner. It's actually a buffet place.

We explored the ship after dinner and watched the preview show at their Stardust theater. That's when we were introduced by our cruise director, Julie. She was very nice and very pretty. They introduced the head masters of the various departments in the cruise before previewing their entertainment for the week.
After dinner, I went around the ship and explored everything. There was a welcome dance party going on at the Spinaker Lounge on deck 13 at the front of the cruise. There was a Salsa band at the Ultra Bliss Lounge on deck 7 at the back of the ship. The casino was on Deck 6 at the front. The Duty Free stores opened at 10PM when the ship entered international waters. I called it a night 2 hours after.
We were still at sea on the next day. We all went to the gym. I went outside and ran on the jogging track. I rock climbed for the first time. My youngest sister and I went to an art auction. We didn't really bid on anything, but we could have joined the raffle to win.

I went back to our room and took a nap. I overexerted myself from not having enough sleep, going to the gym, running around and rock climbing. It was a great decision on my part as I was able to join the festivities later that night.
At around 7PM, we got all dressed up for our formal dinner. We had our family picture taken onboard and with the captain of the cruise. If only we could have had our picture taken with the cruise director.
We had dinner at Le Bistro, a French restaurant. There was a $20 cover charge per person, but since this is a cruise, we could order as much as much food as we want. Drinks were not included, though. That's fine.
I don't like this shirt I'm wearing. I needed cuff links. But it's purple, so it's all good.
After dinner, we watched "Oh What A Night!" It's a tribute show to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. My mom didn't like the fact that my dad chose the front of the stage and was frowning before the show. However, when the show started, she enjoyed being in the front. The singers were really great. After the show, my mom had her picture taken with the entertainers, twice LOL.
I went to Spinaker Lounge and joined the crowd for their 70s Groove Dance Party. I actually joined a line dancing. There was a guy that looked like Skrillex during the party. He didn't care. He danced all night. When the crowd was thinning, I went down to the Bliss Lounge, were the dancing is still happening. I had to make the most of this night because we gained an hour back in time as we entered Alaskan time zone.

Overall, it was a low-key two days on the ship. I made the most of it, though. For more pictures, go HERE. I do have pictures of Juneau, Alaska in there, which I'll be highlighting in my next post...

My dad and I had our second dinner at the Summer Palace Restaurant. My mom and my siblings were tired. We had four lobsters each.
