Summer Vacation 2012 Preview

Didn't want it to end.
It's been a wonderful vacation. I'm writing this on the train ride back to Seattle airport from Vancouver, recounting where I've been and what I've done.

There's still so much of Seattle that I wanted to explore:
- Chihuly Glass and Garden
- Space Needle
- Pike's Market
- 1st Starbucks
- Brunch at the Athenian
- The gay pride parade

The 7-day cruise to Alaska (Juneau, Skagway & Ketchikan) and Victoria BC was a wonderful experience:

- The largest rainforest
- The most bald eagles I've seen
- Bubble-net feeding and spyhopping humpback whales
- Smoked salmon
- Bears
- Cariloha
- White Pass Summit train ride
- Ketchikan shopping
- Totem poles in Saxman village
- Glacier Bay Park
- Over-curious seagulls
- Bus tour through Victoria BC
- The Butchart Gardens

As my first cruise, the Norwegian Pearl set the bar really high for me, to which my youngest sibling said even rivals her Carnival cruise experience:
- Love of my life, Norwegian "The Black" Pearl's Cruise Director, Julie
- The Stardust theater
- Oh What A Night Tribute group
- Comedian Bud Anderson
- Lots of free food
- Stylish dining with minimal cover charge
- Drinks... Lots of it
- Gym
- Outdoor track
- Outdoor Rock-climbing
- Pool
- Casino
- Karaoke
- Winning Bingo
- Spinaker Lounge
- Ultra Bliss Lounge
- Welcome Dance
- 70's Groove Dance Party
- White Hot Dance Party
- Dancing through the decades
- Farewell dance party
- Latin dancing
- Modern club dancing
- Dancing with cruise staff and entertainers
- Convincing DJ Vibe to play EDM and dubstep
- Meeting fellow EDM enthusiasts, pop-lockers, shufflers and dubheads.
- Dancing with the Pearl Stars game
- Adult Quest Game
- The welcoming staff of the Pearl

Going to Vancouver to visit my cousin on Canada day was also great timing:
- Canada Place
- The smell of "Cannabis" Day
- Canada Day fireworks
- The aquarium
- Gastown
- Hugged by a drunk bum
- Dr. Sun-Yat-Sen Garden an Park
- Tim Hortons

There will be more to talk about once I get around to posting and editing my pictures and videos.

I'm done.
